Farmer's Market

SLIPPERY ROCK FARMER’S MARKET BEGINS MAY 20
SLIPPERY ROCK – The success of last summer’s Slippery Rock Farmer’s Market, organized by Slippery Rock University students, has prompted organizers to establish the market again beginning May 20. It will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, through Oct. 28.
Local vendors will sell produce, eggs, meat, honey as well as handcrafted goods in the parking lot of Gateway Park on New Castle Street.

SRU’s Robert A. Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Education and Research coordinates the market, operated by graduate students in the sustainable systems program and local growers. Call 724-738-4050 for more information.
